Acceptable Use Policy
Rules governing the use of Valta services.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the boundaries of permitted conduct when using Valta's platform, APIs, wallets, and any associated services. By accessing or using Valta, you agree to comply with this policy. Valta reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any user found in violation.

1. Prohibited Financial Activities
Valta provides programmable USDC wallets and AI-agent spending infrastructure. The following financial activities are strictly prohibited:
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, or any activity that violates anti-money laundering (AML) or counter-terrorism financing (CTF) regulations
- Processing payments for illegal goods, services, or contraband
- Operating unlicensed money transmission or payment services through Valta wallets
- Structuring transactions to evade reporting thresholds or regulatory detection
- Funding or facilitating fraudulent schemes, Ponzi structures, or deceptive investment offerings
- Using Valta wallets as a pass-through for sanctions evasion or transactions involving sanctioned persons, entities, or jurisdictions
2. Prohibited Platform Activities
Users must not engage in activities that compromise platform integrity, security, or the experience of other users:
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to Valta's systems, infrastructure, other user accounts, or internal APIs
- Launching or facilitating distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, brute-force attacks, or any form of network abuse against Valta or third-party systems via Valta
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of Valta's software, APIs, or proprietary systems
- Scraping, data mining, or automated extraction of data from Valta beyond what is permitted by your plan and API documentation
- Circumventing rate limits, usage quotas, spending controls, or any technical safeguards implemented by Valta
- Introducing malicious code, viruses, trojans, or any software designed to damage or interfere with Valta's operations
3. API and Integration Abuse
Valta provides APIs for programmatic wallet management and AI-agent spending. The following uses of Valta's API infrastructure are prohibited:
- Using API keys or access tokens belonging to another user or organization without explicit authorization
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits, abuse free-tier allocations, or evade enforcement actions
- Building or deploying AI agents through Valta that autonomously engage in prohibited activities listed in this AUP
- Reselling or redistributing Valta API access without a valid reseller or partnership agreement
- Using Valta's infrastructure to benchmark, stress-test, or evaluate competing products without prior written consent
4. Fraud and Misrepresentation
Honesty and transparency are central to Valta's trust model. Users must not:
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information during registration, identity verification, or at any point during use of the platform
- Impersonate another individual, business, or entity when interacting with Valta or other users
- Initiate chargebacks, payment disputes, or reversals in bad faith or to defraud Valta or its payment partners
- Misrepresent the nature of your business, intended use of funds, or the activities performed by AI agents operating under your account
5. Content and Communication
When using Valta's platform features, support channels, or community resources, users must not:
- Transmit content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or that promotes violence or discrimination
- Distribute spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or phishing attempts through or in connection with Valta services
- Upload or share content that infringes upon intellectual property rights of third parties
6. Consequences of Violations
Valta takes violations of this AUP seriously. Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, Valta may take one or more of the following actions at its sole discretion:
- Issuing a written warning and requiring corrective action within a specified timeframe
- Temporarily suspending account access, API keys, or wallet functionality
- Permanently terminating your account and revoking access to all Valta services
- Freezing wallet balances pending investigation, in compliance with applicable law
- Reporting violations to relevant law enforcement, regulatory authorities, or financial intelligence units
- Pursuing legal remedies, including claims for damages and injunctive relief
Valta is not obligated to provide advance notice before taking enforcement action when there is an immediate threat to platform security, user safety, or regulatory compliance.
7. Reporting Abuse
If you become aware of any activity that violates this Acceptable Use Policy, we encourage you to report it promptly. You can contact our trust and safety team at:

Please include as much detail as possible, including relevant account identifiers, transaction references, timestamps, and a description of the suspected violation. All reports are reviewed confidentially, and Valta prohibits retaliation against users who report concerns in good faith.
8. Changes to This Policy
Valta may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or enforcement practices. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on the platform. Continued use of Valta after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
